The Carpenters Songbook Milwaukee reviews
who knew
The Carpenters Songbook is a show I love, not only for their musical talent but for their hard work! They are one bad group! Their parents did a wonderful job! I commend them. I brought my daughter to this standing room only show and we arrived half hour before the show. What I didn't expect was The Carpenters Songbook to be a full two hours late! Expected right? The line was 360 from Roseland door and around the block back to the door was the end of the line. I didn't expect a teleprompter for the performance. I would have preferred a more authentic The Carpenters Songbook, a show of true performance personality. You can definitely tell they work and cover every detail with their show! I admire that they are so detailed, but that teleprompter really made me not want to ever see their show again. My 17 yr old daughter became bored because of the practiced routine. I love their music and so does my daughter, but we will pass on future shows.
